Internet cencorship in Germany? No thanks...

I found an article about internet cencorship in Germany. The governement has been trying to pass a law to be able to cencor certain internet sites. The main targets for this cencorship are child pornography pages. However, there was a massive demonstration against the suggestion and a petition was sent to the parliament. In a very short amount of time lots of people signed the petition, because people are afraid that the government would use this law also to cencor other unwelcomed sites.
But people were not only critizising. They also came up with alternatives to the cencorship.

So if you're interested, then check out the full article:

  1. It's nice to see a protest that actually promotes a solution instead of just condemning a current situation. I'm even more impressed that the protesters actively proved their solution worked during the protest itself. Very cool.
