Internet Monitoring in Greece

The Greek police force can retrieve a significant amount of data on any website that they deem criminal. This means that there is no true form of anonymity in Greece. To take things a step further, the greek police can access this data without the permission of the Communications Privacy Assurance Authority(ADAE). Before this time, the ADAE reviewed whether or not a post would be criminal and give the police authorization or not. Although there is significant transparency, there is no known form of constitutional censorship of Greece's internet.
