The internet's privacy WITH you

Its easy to read an article heading about another country and its own issue and then ignore it. Its even easier to read about rules in other places and not care. What you think really doesn't matter is other countries preferences on internet privacy, and how it doesn't effect you. However, you may be wrong. Check out this point:
"But why should you care if you’re not in Australia? After all, it’s just those crazy Aussies doing their own thing, at least that’s how some sites have reported it."
Being born over in Australia, and a surprisingly similar place to our home land, I find it an interesting example to compare.
After some further investigation, thenextweb proved to have the best combination of details and overall picture. Although it wont spit facts and hard numbers at you, its view on the ripple effect was one I found worth reading. Written by an editor over that The Inquisitr, it also has good comments below it. People from the masses bring up points like the classic:
"Could be time for a bit of civil disobedience from us Australians to retain our freedom by showing the government just how unhappy we are about their secret Internet Filter. It worked for Gandhi in India didn't it?"
Or the less articulate:
"This is shit!"
But also more insightful cultchuarl diffrences in what is privacy on the internet.
Check out the article here (same as above) for some more info.

If you need too, check out more details here.
